After your stay in Bayeux or at the Mont-Saint-Michel...

Just a short introduction to our neighboring, the romantic and scenic Brittany...

Your first guided tour

9 am: Meet at the hotel in Bayeux (or Mont-Saint-Michel).

Route to Dol-de-Bretagne, our first stop. You will discover this lovely town with its medieval houses and mansions. We will visit the amazing Cathedraloscope museum to learn more about the remarkable work of our ancestors and to try to understand how they managed to build beautiful cathedrals all around Europe.

Back on the coast via Vivier-sur-Mer, we will drive along the scenic Mont-Saint-Michel bay until Cancale. Cancale is more than a scenic fishing harbour, it is also famous for its flat oysters product. On low tide you can see from the quays the oyster banks.

After a gourmet lunch break at the "Le Coquillage, Bistrot Marin" owned by the famous Chef O. Roellinger, you will have time to stroll through the village with its lovely houses built in local schist. Continue onto the pointe du Grouin, a botanic and ornithological reserve. After a stop for a photo we will continue our route along the Emeraude coast to reach Saint-Malo in the late afternoon.

Dinner at leisure, overnight in Saint-Malo (intramuros).
